49ers vs Steelers
Watching San Fran beat the Steelers was strange. Big Ben was injured and wearing a boot. The 49ers defense was impressive. I may be the only one, but sometimes I find Polamalu flying around the field to be sometimes ineffective. Are we seeing the Steelers on the decline? Or was the Roth and some untimely interceptions/drops what hindered their game. I question the strength of the Niners. Do consistent teams lose to my Cards? Kansas City did just beat Green Bay, and anything can happen on any given Sunday. Many questions, many possible passing records broken, what a year. To think the season almost did not happen.

Tim Tebow
credit-tsn.ca |
All year I have listened and read about how Tim Tebow was not ready to be an NFL quaterback. Tebow apparently can't throw, does not have NFL mechanics, can't play the pro offensive schemes, the list of criticisms was long, extremely long. The one thing Tim Tebow has proven is that he can win. He finds a way to win. One great thing about Tebow is he rarely turns the ball over. Quarterbacks like Phillip Rivers were highly praised before the season started and anticipated to do great things but fell victim to turnovers. Tebow gets wins when he goes 2-8 passing and relies on his legs, he gets wins when even after a long game of dropped passes and misfortune against the Bears, he turns it on in the 4th quarter and accomplishes what needs to be done. I am not a religious person, and don't really care about a players beliefs or convictions. Well that is not entirely true. I do respect them, but it is not a reason for my following as a fan. Say what you want about Tim Tebow, but he seems like a genuinely good person, and has proven, as I was rooting for all year, that he can be a starting quarterback in the NFL.

Interesting Season
My Arizona Cardinals have clawed their way to 6-7. They have an extremely low percentage shot of making the playoffs, but still a shot! They need the Lions and Falcons to go on a serious skid! I have been very impressed with the Cards, it is a shame they got the short end of the stick on some games early in the year. My fantasy team had 1447.28 points against. The most in my league. I lost several close games early in the year, and although my team finally got it together late, I had several players hurt my team repeatedly early on. Chris Johnson is once again playing like a pro bowler, but I had to wait till week 10+ to get any sort of production from him. Chris Johnson was a big harm to my fantasy team, not having a rushing attack in the early half of the season killed me. If I had started Sproles instead of Johnson early on I would have probably even salvaged some games. Matt Ryan also had suspect production early on in the season. I hope for better luck next year!

Bucs Game
Going to an NFL game was a great time! Our seats were in the 100's, around the 40 yard line. Unfortunately for my friend, whose favorite team is the Bucs, they lost. Cam Newton had an incredible game. He ran for several touchdowns. The Panthers also completed a play that blew my mind! It can be found :45 seconds into the following video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=96SeSx2de9E
Raymond James stadium is a beautiful venue. I can't say enough about how much fun I had on the trip, and how great going to an NFL game was.

Tennessee Titans
Dear Tennessee Titans,
I would like to open this letter my wishing you the best, and wishing you good luck for the upcoming season. I am begging you guys to please come to a deal as soon as possible. It would be best if your deal could be made before kickoff on opening day of the 2011 season. I know you guys want to win the AFC South, and CJ helps give you a chance to at least win some games. Personally I think he is completely necessary for the Titans to not have a completely dreadful season. Maybe you have offered him 10 million a year, so... If he won't sign that offer him 12! Their is one simple reason why Chris Johnson must play this year. He is my fantasy football running back. My running squad consists of CJ, Reggie Bush, Mike Tolbert, with Darren Sproles on the bench. As you can see I need Chris Johnson to play. I need the 10+ touchdown and guaranteed 1000 yards rushing Johnson will provide. Johnson is even a threat to catch the ball. He is your team, he touches the ball A LOT. Please. Tennessee Titans management, Bud Adams, whoever has a say in the matter, pay Chris Johnson whatever you have to. Fantasy owners everywhere need his production. Did I mention he is your star player? Let the man make the money he deserves for his solid performance. If you want a top running back you have to pay your top running back.
Yours truly,
